| How does the Question / Answer system work at Unasked? At Unasked.com you ask questions and people answer questions. You can be logged in to do this or you can do this without registering and logging in. You can even remain anonymous. In the same way, you can rephrase questions and comment on answers. If you are logged in when you ask or answer a question, you will receive points. Others will rate your answers for completeness on a scale from 10% to 100%, or mark your answer as "Not an Answer" or "Advice / Opinion". If your answer is marked as "Not an Answer" the points you received for that answer will be removed from your account and it will either be deleted or marked as 0% complete. If you answer is marked as "Advice / Opinion" it will be recognized as an opinion or helpful statement, but not necessarily a direct answer. It will be considered 10% of an answer, though you will not have that percentage averaged into your overall answer completeness, so it won't pull down your score. When the completeness percentages of all answers to a question add up to 250%, the question will be considered closed, though comments will still be able to be made. Logged in users will have their total points added up, their average answer completeness score averaged, and the two numbers will be multiplied together to get the total member rating score. Level 2 users have the ability to dispute answer completeness scores to have the answers re-evaluated. Level 3 users have the ability to evaluate answers and receive points for doing so. How are points earned?
