It depends on what layer of the rainforest you want to know about, there are different types of animals on every layer, and seing as there are 5 layers of rainforest, there are alot of animals. These five layers consist of the emergent layer, the canopy layer, the understorey layer, the shrub layer and the forest layer. So if you really want to learn about the wildlife in the rainforest, you should choose a layer and research it.
Different animals and plants live in different parts of the rain forest. The layers are called strata zones.
Starting from the top, with the trees that grow higher than the canopy, The Emergent. Birds and insects live here.
The canopy is the next strata, it has insects, birds, reptiles, mammals, and more. A lot of the animals are here
The Understory, dark cool spot under the leaves on the ground.
The Forest Floor, this zone has many insects, and large animals. This also hold many of the rain forest animals.
Animals like microscopic animals, invertebrates like insects and worms, fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and mammals. All live in a rain forest.
