Should high school athletes be subject to random drug testing?

I think any athlete should be subject to random drug testing, regardless of how old you are or what sport or whatever. If you want to be an athlete, why would you do drugs anyway?.. That's just a stupid choice.. flatout.. Drugs damage your body and mind, how can you be a good athlete on drugs?.. and as for steroids.. STUPID! Using steroids doesn't make you stronger, it makes you appear stronger, it's empty muscle tissue. If you want to bulk up, take creatine and workout. My little brother is 17, he drinks a glass of chocolate milk with a teaspoon of creatine powder every morning before school, his first class is a spare, so he uses that 75 minutes to lift weights and run the track.. when he gets home from school he jogs for an hour and works out in his own weight room at hoime for 2 hours. He doesn't use drugs, and he's the strongest, healthiest 17 year old boy I know.

i dont agree cause if you taking drugs then thats just them messing up their life but they shouldnt stop then from playing their favo sport thats just me

They have to learn that to do a sport cause u gotta do it fair and earn the privilege.

i think athletes should get tested randomly for drugs because druga are bad for you and is not fair to the other athletes who don't take drugs and are equally as good. DRUGS KILL YOU!!!!!

I agree because if i had a kid i would want to make sure my kid was going somewhere in life and not in a wrong path!!!!!

I think they should because thats not right to be on staroids and representing your school, and i think everybody should do it the natural way and thats stupid staroids are bad for you just to ruin your career for staroids so take my advice think twice it's not worth it!!

i think they should be tested for random drug testing because when ur on steriods you make ur bones and muscels bigger and you might be able to play sports better.

steroids dont make you stronger you think they do because you want to feel stronger, but actually as i read they only make you appear stronger.

Yes I think so because it can hurt their health, it can kill them, and it can damage their brain!!!!!!! And, plus it isn't fair to the kids that aren't doing drugs... I also think that the other kids that attend that school should be tested for drugs, also!
