If a psychic on the TV show Phenomenon is about to be voted off the show, shouldn't he already know it?

Well, no, not really. It depends on your perception of a psychic. They (assuming they are the real deal) are not aware of fate in its totallity. Until the psychic entered that contest he would not have been aware of its outcome. They are as vunerable to the vageries of the universe as we all are. Personally I have no faith in psychics though I am aware that some aspects are unexplainable and have personally experienced evidence of the fact that it does exist. The perception of a psychic as an all knowing omniscient being is baseless, most are only able to 'see' a few hours into the future at best.

No, most only have a higher understanding of the subconsoius which everyone already has.
