If a presidential candidate drops out of the race and endorses another candidate will that candidate receive his delegat?

No, not necessarily. However, it is very likely that these delegates will go for the candidate that their former 'candidate' endorses.

It depends on the state, but most often, the delagates are free to put their support behind whoever is left. If it involves a winner take all state, I believe the delegate votes are given to the person the party is set to nominate.
