anne frank wrote a diary durring world war II becasue she was giving to her by her dad, Coincidentally she had her diary during world war II. hitler was planning to kill the jewish people in the area and anne's family didnt have an option as to going into hiding so she decided to bring her diary. while she was in hiding she was with another family that also went into hiding with her. but they spent a whole two year there while in hiding, after those two long year of hiding the family was betrayed and tooken to a concentration camp. Anne spent 7 months in the concentration camp with thyphus and died. anne father survived the holocaust camp and was given the diary after surviving the holocaust. her dad decided to publish the book about her daughter which was originaly called "the diary of a young girl" this information was from years of waorld war II studying and froma wikipedia(which that article is true)

it's a very historical book
even though it's a diary
I read it and loved it
