From a physicists point of view - yes. All falling objects will (on earth, and considering you are talking about an organic object I must assume this is the fact) will at the very least displace air which will produce a "whooomping" sound even if it is a quiet sound, a small tree for example. A larger tree in dense forest will break branches of itself and of others around it, cue creaks, groans and various bangs. If the tree falls alone the sound of it slapping the ground when it hits will wake most sleeping people.
Philosophically it is a different question and to my mind a purile one. The question is grounded in whether observation of a fact creates the effect and is related to the 'cat in a box' question, see schrodinger for more on this. As someone who lives amongst woods I can tell you that I don't have to see the tree fall to hear it fall.
Try this question if you feel like exercising your mind:
How can you determine that everyone observes the world the way you do without resorting to physical experimentation?
In all sincere honesty I'd love to hear your argument. Take care now.
