News: Favre has reportedly been traded to the Jets, according to ESPN.
Spin: The trickle down effect here is pretty obvious. Aaron Rodgers gets the Green Bay QB job to himself, while Kellen Clemens and Chad Pennington are relegated to reserve roles with the Jets. Meanwhile, the likes of Jerrico Cotchery and Laveranues Coles have to be stoked. Assuming he can get in synch with the New York offense and his new teammates in short order, Favre remains a viable fantasy option.
