Antifreeze is toxic and can kill your animal if not treated early. It containsethylene glycol which is also found in brake fluid and deorative snow globes to name just a few. Shortly after ingesting the fluid you pet will look drunk. After that, when you think all is well, it has metabolized to the kidneys and liver and damages them beyond repair.
The best thing is to never let your pets roam your garage or your neighborhood. You don't know whose may have a leak. The toxic substance in antifreeze tastes sweet to your animal and they have no clue it is harmful to them.
