Like all foreign substances to the lungs, it will cause some damage, but as for long-term effects, not much.

It depends who you believe. You are of cause subjecting yourself to the usual toxins that come with smoking but this depends much on the quality of the weed you are smoking. hash is generally best avoided unless you can get some pure stuff. If you have to burn t to crumble it then there are many other chemicals in it used to bulk it out. Hash ideally should be rollable into a sausage like shape in the palm, without the need for artificial heat.
There are some studies that try and prove that smoking weed will lead to psychological damage, however this s largely scare-mongering. its true it may have some effect but you have to be slightly unbalanced anyway.
