NO because it takes the life of an unborn fetus for something that may fail... if people asre crippled leave it that way God meant for it to be.

I really dont' know how I feel about this. I am normally against stem cell research because of the source of the cells. But, if you can be alive and contribute cells and still live a long life...I'd donate mine. Everyday the story about all this changes.

Reseach and experiments are two different things, and with experiments trial and error
is a real factor.

There are going to be protest with research/experimentation, including people, animals or nature.

Reseaching is reading the facts at hand like from a book in a library, as you would at school for a project, no harm can really come of that, using that knowlege can be safe and helpful.

But if we are reseaching by experiments, well the the worst case may just be a reality,
We have to take in the fact of the worst case possible and the best case so to be prepaired, and not forgetting the element of suprise.

Counter measures are needed, we can't simply begin something and not be prepaired for the possible outbreak something we cannot control, it would be unwise.
And wise to object to such research.

But the best we can see from all this experimentation/research are cures and wonderous other things to better ourselves.

If 10,000 people are dying everyday to something stem research can help,
then we should proceed with it, but not at the cost of another life. This would be wrong.
Having new death statisics relating purly to stem research, do not make us look like an intelligent race or even fit to be called friendly, we might as well bring out the nazi book on research and proceed with what we know is wrong, since we won't do what is right.
We can do better than that.
