Sure but not very far off of the ground, or at all it might seem, but that's flying.
Flying is defined by remaining sustained in the air, a rooster can hold it's own weight, even if it's by just that much.
So unless there is a certain amount of time, staying aloft in the air, to nit pick at what qualifies as flying, a rooster can fly.

For every second the Wright brother's plane stayed in the air, it was called flying - A rooster can fly, even if it is a fraction of that time.
The Wright brothers plane needed to be in the air long enough to be concidered 'aviation worthy', I think it was minimum 7 seconds. I think, but it stayed up for 13 seconds. So any shorter than that and the feat, like a 4 second flight, would not have caught the attention in development for aviation, ideas instead might have made it to the dinner table, like out clucking rooster, on a flying plate or something less created than the Jumbojet. So even if it was 3 seconds or 2, the Wright brother's plane flew for that long. but not long enough to start building aeroplanes, so, a rooster can fly - even if is for a tick.

Soon we will be compared to pigs, if this implant thing takes off, - Cows chew grass like us, so I guess we have little cow in us. So in the future we are pigs because we have their organs???!!! Unrelated Quote: 'No, you so bad you got your own thing'. (James Brown, Bring It On {Father of Soul, LP}
