I have two answers for you, becuase I am not sure if you mean intelligence or alligence. Here is the difference between intelligence and techers first.
- Wikipedia say,
' Intelligence may include traits such as creativity, personality, character, knowledge, or wisdom.
However, most psychologists prefer not to include these traits in the definition of intelligence.'

Wikipedia on Teachers..
'Teachers may use a lesson plan to facilitate student learning, providing a course of study which covers a standardized curriculum. A teacher's role may vary between cultures. In most countries, some professional teachers teach literacy and numeracy, or some of the other school subjects. Other teachers may provide instruction in craftsmanship or vocational training, the Arts, religion or spirituality, civics, community roles, or life skills. In some countries, formal education can take place through home schooling.'

If you meant alligence, the word meaning a bond between two people or country, then the answer is universal.
Teachers help teach others common knowlege and select subjects around the world. Study can help better education overall.
Alligence is an established agreement to be one, offering help and to better each other though that agreement, but on a larger scale than teaching alone.
Food and aid can be provided in an alligence, as a teacher, food is knowlege and the aid is how you apply your studies in the real world.
The difference is the context these words are being used in, because both can be seen as the same.
I can't seem to get out hat I want to say - but thats the short of it.
