Don't talk behind a couples back, unless you have nothing good to say.
Best to live separate lives if you have nothing good to say.
Congratulating the couple is a good idea.
Shows you are a person. It's honest.
Maturity does not need to come with age, try thinking like a kid and just be yourself
- without trying to portrait expectations of an adult life that not even an old person might achieve.
Choice of girl, is very important in some circles.
Too much of a milk sop or not sexy enough can draw criticism.

Compliment anything
- it's polite. But again, be honest, people can see though that.
The company you keep should be clue enough in how open you should be.
Some people take truth as a shock - and others take it as lies

Honesty can be questioned, it's obvious when another blushes from compliments and it's passed on ten fold as gossip if your taken the wrong way.

- you have to mean it - so just be honest, and be open to correction too.

Just like false promises people make, you can write all the compliments you like - at least you won't look like your lying -
if they ask u what do u think of my girl. if not keep it to urself, its their gf u dont have to mention how great she is cause they already know. if its ur good friend there should be no harm in saying good catch tho
