Yes. Her full name is Destiny Hope Cyrus. Her father called her that because he thought her "Destiny" was to bring "Hope" to the world. But she was always a smiley baby, so she earned her nickname "Smiley." Then her dad started to talk to her in baby talk, and it turned to Miley.

Miley Cyrus real name is Destiny because her 1st mom thought that she would be destined when she grew up and they were right! :)

Apparently, her real name is Destiny Hope, she was given the nickname "Smiley" because she was always smiling as a baby, and on the show it was shortened to Miley.
