If you are heading west, you will eventually encounter what you would if just went east, and vice versa. If your destination is on the Exact Opposite Side of Earth, you can go east or west, but will always wind up at the same speed (except in a few situations, also this is avoiding all barriers, so you might be quicker in one direction than the other). If you keep on going west, you'll drown because there is a 100% you will eventually encounter a deep body of water. Anyway you would likely die.
