Answer A Question

When you ask a person if he or she could answer a question, he or she answered "Yes" and then you proceed to ask your question; weren't you technically asking two questions instead of just "a question"?

Can/could you answer a question (for me)? Yes, of course.

How do you make pancakes? First you get some.....

Two questions, not one. Nothing 'technical' about it, it's two questions.

What a dumb question :)). One question after you ask that question.. (if she can answear to a question)...so this is one question after all.
