Use flea powder first before vacuuming. Prevent your pets from getting indoors for a while until you ensure that they no longer carry fleas themselves. Be more thorough when cleaning to ensure that there are no more fleas. Hire professional pest control if you can no longer handle the situation yourself.

I went to my vet and got a product you can only get from them(a spray) and it worked great. Remember when you vaccum to change the bag or the monsters climb back out!!They also said to make sure to spray around the base boards and any cracks in hardwood floors cuz they get in there too.
