Is it possible for humans to get fleas in their hair If so, how do you get rid of them. Our dog has fleas and I don't know if I am itching because of fleas in my hair or it is just my imagination.?

I had fleas when my cats did. I washed my hair with the cat flea shampoo just to see if i had fleas, and OMG, I had fleas. I washed my hair twice a day probably for a while so the soap could kill them off while i got the fleas out of the house.
they are just hopping around you , checkin out the place to see if its a good home. most human male skin is hairy so..the like to move into hairy areas, so to me yes, in your hair is a good possiblity, but, not a whole lot of room to move around for them , they prefer a little space, for eggs an hatchings, plus your showering kills them, (shampoo) so they'll hide anywhere its dry, warm, and feed on blood. exsposure to them is deadly. get them out into open, they hate the cold!!
It is possible if you come in close contact whith any part of the dog. The fleas will jump on you but stay there for only a couple of days, because they don't like the taste of human blood. But they do leave a mark, TRUST ME!(just like mossey bites)
