Yes, they are delicious. In Hawaii we use a pole spear at 30-50 feet in sandy pockets near coral heads to hunt. To prepare we filet the sides only without cutting into the organs and then use pliers to peel the tough skin off.
The flesh is a white solid, firm, steak-like meat that is great over charcoal grill.
