Quote - " On average, a person blinks 16 times per minute. "
A 16 hour day = 15360 blinks
A 24 Hour day = 23040 blinks "
Wikipedia states the average person blinks 10 times a minute in laboratory settings, with intervals between 2-10 seconds each! this being said...
10 x 60 = 600 blinks per hour
600 x 18 = 10,800 blinks per day (18 hr day, you don't blink while you sleep)
10,800 x 365 = 3,942,000 blinks per year
3,942,000 x 78.75 yrs (average life expectancy in North America per Wikipedia) = 310,432,500 blinks in a lifetime!
