a presidental veto can be overruled if at least 2/3 majority of congress vote the president's veto (on the bill/law) to become a law so the congress can overridethe president's veto.Works Cited- social studies online textbook; www.pearsonsuccessnet.com

According to the Constitution of the U.S., two thirds of the members of each Congressional house need to vote against the President in order to overturn veto, a bill will then become law.
