Well no one actuley invented electircity it was passed on to a lot of people last being thomas edison who invented his own electricity plant name edison general electrics. but soon was changed to just general electrics.

Electricity was not invented. It was more of a discovery and its difficult to explain what electricity realy is.

That is true, we found it, as though it was hiding, it's the same with the discovery of fire, we credit the cave men for that. Cave men are drawn up like big monkeys, so if evolution proves to be true that we did evolve from Apes, then the Apes too get credited for the discovery...Only a matter of time before these animals are driving buses. lol.

No one person 'invented' electricity, but the first person to study it extensively was Benjamin Franklin.

I do not agree with your answer it was not Benjamin Frankil it was Nicola Tesla who made electricity.
Nicola Tesla help make those huge towers that shoot lighting bolts. He made advances with the use of the power. Tesla e is only credited with the invention of the Talsa Tower, and you know what a Talsa tower is if you played online war games. Here is a picture of a tower, similar to the one experimented on by Tesla http://thinkorthwim.com/index.php?tag=jp_morgan Another picture of a towner, in Ladonia http://www.ladonia.net/new_herald/wp-content/teslatower.jpg

I think it should be Watt who invented electricity... Is my answer correct??? Actually...my teacher told me that!
The name Watt is also the same name the person who is credited with the discovery of a Watt in electricty. You can read up on it here - Watt - From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watt

Thomas Edison obviously, however, the people of 600 b.c. knew that amber, when rubbed, could make a charge.
Comments
600 B.C. Thales of Miletus wrote about amber becoming charged by rubbing, what is called static electricity today. 1600 English scientist, William Gilbert first used the word "electricity" translating the Greek word for amber in to English 1660 Machine invented by Otto von Guericke that produced static electricity. 1675 Robert Boyle discovered electric forces transmitted through a vacuum, observed attraction and repulsion. 1729 Stephen Gray's conduction of electricity discovery. 1733 Charles Francois du Fay discovered electricity comes in two forms, he called these, resinous(-)and vitreous(+). Benjamin Franklin and Ebenezer Kinnersley renamed the discovery as positive and negative. 1752 Benjamin Franklin invents the lightening rod. Demonstrations proved lightning was electricity.

First of all, you're answer is WRONG!, and second of all, there's no proof of that at all, and that's hardly electricty anyway.
That's right! You should listen to this genius! He knows what he's talking about!
