Could a giraffe out run a cheetah in the long run?

Yes. A cheetah is a spriting type cat that has a top speed of about 70 MPH. The problem is that they can only go for about 300 yards are so before they have to stop. If a giraffe can run at least that far, then they can certainly overtake a cheetah in a long run.
