Yes, if it's being hit upwards. The pull of gravity on an object is stronger the further it is from the centre of the earth. Weight = mass by gravity! So you are heavier on top of a mountain than you are at the bottom of it!

it depends on the.....you can swing faster with a light bat.....but harder with a heavy one.
