It is a style of bullfighting originating in Portugal. The Portuguese style bullfight is practised by applying a piece of Velcro on the back of the bull and the other end is then applied on the tip of a blunt spear. No bulls are harmed nor killed during a performance. In California and Portugal, the Cavaleiro (bullfighter on horseback) is the main attraction of the event, whereas the Matador (bullfighter on foot) is the main performer in a Spanish style bullfight.
