I was just (finally) diagnosed with ADD. I am being treated with Provigil and it has made a huge difference in my productivity.

I probably would be diagnozed with ADD if I went to a doctor. Have you noticed any downside to the medication?

The primary focus for this site came from my personal interest in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD, ADD). Working with Howard Morris of the National Attention Deficit Disorder Association, we created the first ADDA site and went online in February of 1996. The response we received from ADD adults and children began to pour in from all over the world.

Since that time, I've gathered a great deal of information on Attention Deficit Disorder that I can share with you. At the same time, this is a visitor driven site, and I hope that you will share your stories and knowledge, so we can learn from each other.

I will do my best to present information that is important to those of us with ADD. You will find listings of adult support groups, information on diagnosis and medication and ideas for your support group. I will do my best to provide information on upcoming events of interest to ADD adults and youth, as well as suggesting compensation techniques to help ADDers achieve success in their lives, workplaces and relationships. Remember, what happens here has a lot to do with you, so take the risk and contribute!
