Infants and toddlers are really in to Elmo. So most likely you are safe with any toy that has Elmo. Another good idea are push toys, toys that make sound such as music or animal sounds, light up toys, etc. You are also pretty safe with clothes as a gift. Not as enjoyable for the kids, but good for the parents.
