Much of what people consider to be the devine word of God comes from their belief in their holy book. If you are a Christian and you look to the Bible for answers, you are taking the teachings it has to give you based on what Jesus and God have asked of you for believing in them: namely, to have "faith". Your "Faith" in God and your "Faith" in Jesus is the same as your "Faith" in the truthfulness of the Bible. If you could actually "prove" God or "Prove" Jesus or "Prove" the truthfulness of the Bible, you would no longer have "Faith", because "Faith" means to have an "unproven belief" that something is true. People have faith in God. People have faith in Jesus. People have faith in the Bible. Were we to actually prove all of it true, you would lose the value of your "faith" in all of it. It would all just become another part of all the data we already have in our secular world. Even if you could prove the whole of the Bible true, the power within it and within God and within Jesus happens to be in our Faith in them, not the necessity of their truth.

What is truth?
The truth is incontrovertible, the ignorant may deny it, the foolish may deride it but in the end there it is!?Winston Churchill

TRUTH has been a subject of debate for thousands of years why? It seems so straight
Forward. It is defined as; That which is firm, trustworthy, stable, faithful, true, or established as fact, that which is right and proper.

A lie, on the other hand is defined as deception or falsehood, the antonym of truth. The Hebrew verb ka?chash? (deceive) evidently has the basic meaning ?prove disappointing.?
A lie can ?prove disappointing?, because of the error it can cause.

An example that we are all familiar with is the space shuttle accidents. In every case the cause was a misunderstanding by someone of a truth of a law of physics! That resulted in Error that proved fatal, a lie if you will, or at least an untruth. Believing with all our hearts, having faith in the ones that were building these machines was not enough. They still died!

Bible answer------(Hebrews 11:1) Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld. . .
An example of this is Wind. You can?t see it But you see what it does, you can feel it on your face It?s an evident demonstration of a reality. Proof enough to put faith in. Faith is based on truth!

(Isaiah 43:9) 9 Let the nations all be collected together at one place, and let national groups be gathered together. Who is there among them that can tell this? Or can they cause us to hear even the first things? Let them furnish their witnesses, that they may be declared righteous, or let them hear and say, ?It is the truth!??

(2 Peter 2:1-2) 2 However, there also came to be false prophets among the people, as there will also be false teachers among YOU. These very ones will quietly bring in destructive sects and will disown even the owner that bought them, bringing speedy destruction upon themselves. 2 Furthermore, many will follow their acts of loose conduct, and on account of these the way of the truth will be spoken of abusively. . .

(Ephesians 4:25) 25 Wherefore, now that YOU have put away falsehood, speak truth each one of YOU with his neighbor, because we are members belonging to one another.. . .

(John 18:37) 37 Therefore Pilate said to him: ?Well, then, are you a king?? Jesus answered: ?You yourself are saying that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone that is on the side of the truth listens to my voice.. . .

Credulous?gullible, ready to believe without proof. We have a term for that, it?s na?ve that term comes from our first human mother Eve, who was easily tricked by the devil.

So which answer is Christian Truth?
