Palindrome: word(s), phrase(s), verse(s), or sentence that reads the same backward or forward.
Examples : Top spot, He won snow, eh? ( both example can be read the same backwards )

A palindrome spells the same word backward as forward.

For example, take the word:

RACECAR

Spell it backwards, and you have:

RACECAR
